HOW DOES THE SCOREBAND PLAY WORK?
I WON'T NEED SOME OF THE MODES. CAN I REMOVE THEM?
Yes. You can hide any/all of the scoring modes.
To HIDE a Mode: Go to the undesired mode. Then press and hold the MODE button (upper green button)for 8 seconds.
To UNHIDE Mode(s): Go to TIME mode. Then press and hold down the LIGHT button (lower green button) for 15 seconds.
I HAVE LOST A MODE. HOW DO I RESTORE IT?
To RESTORE Mode(s): Go to TIME mode. Then press and hold down the LIGHT button (lower green button) for 15 seconds.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE TO ORDER?
The ScoreBand PLAY is 'one-size-fits-all' using standard buckle & clasp closure. No need to worry about sizes...just pick your desired color & order.
IS IT WATER-RESISTANT?
Yes, ScoreBand PLAY is 3ATM. Which means it should withstand moisture even with pressure on it similar to 100 feet underwater. So, it will be okay if exposed to rain or sweat, but moisture should be avoided or wiped away if present. If buttons are pressed while moisture is present, it is more susceptible to moisture entering.
DOES IT CONFORM TO THE RULES OF GOLF AND TENNIS?
Yes, we have confirmed with the USGA and USTA that this does not violate any of their rules. It is just a technological advancement. Similar to going from a wooden racquet to a graphite one...or a wood driver to a metal driver.
DOES IT COME WITH A WARRANTY?
Yes, ScoreBand PLAY comes with a one-year limited warranty. Click here to register your product for warranty coverage.
DO I NEED TO BUY A SEPARATE WATCH FOR EVERY SPORT I PLAY?
No, ScoreBand PLAY is loaded with four modes: Time mode plus three all encompassing sport scorekeeping modes - AllScore, Golf & Tennis.
DO I NEED TO BUY A BATTERY?
No. Your ScoreBand PLAY will arrive with a replaceable 1.5 volt button cell battery (LR927 or SR399) battery inside that should last over one year with normal usage. It is recommended that you allow a professional to replace the battery so water-resistance properties remain intact.
IS THERE AN ON/OFF POWER BUTTON TO CONSERVE BATTERY LIFE?
ScoreBand PLAY does have a sleep function to conserve battery life when not in use. To hibernate watch, press and hold the MODE & LIGHT buttons for 2 seconds. Also, if left in any scoring mode for 30 minutes, display will automatically go to sleep. Press any button to awaken.
DO SCORES RESET IF I CHANGE MODE?
No, scores remain until reset. This enables you to check the time during a game or match. It also allows you to keep statistics while playing golf or tennis by switching over to AllScore mode and then back to your game mode.
HOW DO I REPLACE THE BATTERY?
